Do you accept new patients?

Do I need an eye examination?

Did you know that an eye examination is about so much more than your vision? Even if you feel you have no problems with your eyesight, an eye examination is designed to detect signs of early disease, such as cataract, macular degeneration and glaucoma.
An eye examination can also pick up systemic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. 

What if I have an eye problem or eye emergency?

If you feel you have an eye problem that needs to be seen quickly, an optometrist should be your first point of call.

Please understand that we may not be able to see you on the same day even if you have been told by your GP to see an optometrist. Our team will always do their best to help and please respect this and the information they give to you.

If you are concerned that the problem you are experiencing requires emergency attention and you cannot find an available optometrist appointment at a practice, you should contact your GP, call NHS 24 on 111 or visit A&E. Further information is also available on the NHS Inform website.
