When it comes to frames, we care about quality, style and fit. We also love choosing our collections! From subtle to stand-out-from-the-crowd. How do I know which glasses are best for me?
We are experts in guiding you to the best style, frame and lens choices for your personality, vision and lifestyle. We will always describe things clearly. Our experienced team understands optical lenses and how they work for you and your frame. We make sure your frame fits well and suits your prescription. We take careful measurements (because everyone is different). And when your new glasses are ready we spend time with you to ensure everything is just as it should be.
Do you have any offers?
When you purchase two pairs of prescription glasses to the same prescription and at the same time we will give you 20% off your second pair.
Do you have children’s glasses?
We have a great range of styles and frames for young and older children. Most of these are free with an NHS voucher. We are also proud to stock and expertly fit the multi-award-winning Tomato eyewear.
Can I get free NHS glasses?
If you are entitled to an NHS voucher because of a benefit you receive you may use it towards the cost of any frame-plus-lenses in our practice. We also offer ‘free with NHS voucher’ prescription glasses in a great range of styles.
Can you put new lenses into old frames?
As long as your favourite frame is in good enough condition, we are happy to do this. This is known as re-glazing (or re-lensing).
What prescription lenses do you use?
Being independent means we are not tied to one lens company. So when it comes to choosing our ranges of high-performance and excellent-value lenses, we can take our pick. We offer high-performance lenses and coatings to suit all budgets.
Our top-of-the range lenses include Varilux® XR series™ varifocals and Transitions® photochromic lenses.
Where do you source your frames?
We stock frames designed and produced by independent companies. Alongside well-loved brands. We use BCorp suppliers and many of our frames are sustainable choices – even our entry-level frames.
Do you provide frame aftercare?
Wearing in new glasses can be a little like wearing in a new pair of shoes. We provide free servicing and fine-tuning adjustments.
We provide free in-house repairs for our customers, a choice of replacement nose pads and ultrasonic cleaning. If your frame needs a more substantial repair (be it due to puppies or football), we will advise you on cost and send it to our external repairers.
