Recycle & Refill

We provide eco-friendly lens cleaner that is safe to use on all frames and lenses. This is especially important when cleaning frames that are made from more sustainable bio-acetate, when alcohol-based spray or wipes must not be used.

And if you bring your bottle back to us, we will refill it for free!

Do you put new lenses into old frames?

As long as your much-loved frames are in good enough condition, we are happy to put new lenses into old glasses. Can’t decide which frame to use? You can even bring us a selection and we will be happy to advise you.

Do you recycle glasses and cases?

If you have been a glasses-wearer for a while, chances are you have some old glasses in a drawer. Please bring them to us. Old glasses and cases, whatever their condition, are taken by community volunteers. The materials are broken down and recycled to raise money for charity, or sent to communities overseas where affordable eyecare for all is not available.

Can I recycle my contact lenses?

We invite all our contact-lens customers to recycle their used contact lenses, blister packs and foil lids at our practice. Drop your lenses and blister packaging into our Zero Waste Box™ and they will be used to make recycled-plastic furniture.
